The Commercial Head will be responsible for driving and managing all commercial activities of the organization. This includes pricing strategy, contract negotiations, revenue growth, partnerships, vendor management, and ensuring profitable business operations. The candidate will be a strategic leader who can balance financial outcomes with customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Leadership :
- •Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy aligned with the company’s vision and growth objectives.
- • Drive revenue optimization through pricing models, product bundling, and competitive market positioning.
- • Monitor industry trends and assess risks and opportunities to maintain competitive advantage.
- • Business Growth & Partnerships
- • Forge and manage strategic alliances with technology partners, resellers, and enterprise clients.
- •Support sales and business development teams with commercial frameworks, deal structuring, and client negotiations.
- •Oversee high-value, complex contracts ensuring compliance and profitability.
Financial & Contractual Management :
- •Own commercial governance including vendor negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and customer SLAs.
- • Collaborate with finance to set business targets, forecasting, and revenue projections.
- •Define metrics and KPIs for profitability, cost optimization, and efficiency
- •Lead commercial due diligence for new products, services, and international expansion plans.
- •Ensure regulatory and legal compliance across all commercial operations.
- •Continuously optimize internal processes to improve agility and reduce costs.
- •Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, finance, and legal teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- •Strategic and analytical thinking with commercial acumen.
- •MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
- •8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial roles, preferably in cloud computing, IT services, data centers.
- •Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- •Deep understanding of cloud computing, IaaS, and IT services ecosystems.
- •Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
